After 10 years in business as PowerHouse Kickboxing Inc, my husband and I have expanded his business and combined our work. In 2015 we have opened a new bigger location, a 4000 sq. ft. fitness and wellness club PowerHouse Kickboxing and Fitness Inc. where we do not only focus on physical health but also an overall wellbeing. This website is now a part of PowerHouse Kickboxing and Fitness Inc. and is a great information sharing tool for our community locally and online.

Health and wellbeing are interconnected. Wellbeing is the state of physical, spiritual, emotional and mental health, a state of balance, resilience and wholeness. And health is so much more than just the absence of disease, it is a feeling of an overall wellbeing, wellness.

The actions and steps that we take throughout our life will help us move closer to health. The purpose of this website is to compile the latest research, share information, and our personal experience, to empower others to make healthy, mindful living an easy and natural part of their daily life.

My goal is to support individuals with various health issues, interested in building up, restoring and strengthening their immunity, getting healthy again and preventing further deterioration of their health; as well as helping those who are overall healthy and are looking to strengthen their immune system for prevention.

Having been diagnosed with three autoimmune conditions, Celiac, Lichen planus (LP) and Lichen planopilaris (LPP) myself, I focus a lot on immune system recovery and balance.

Body is an organism, an ecosystem, a network, but we are more than just physical bodies. We are mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and energetic beings. Disease can occur from imbalances in these areas, together with my clients we develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for each individual, and implement lasting changes that will improve energy, food choices and overall health and wellbeing.

My approach to promoting health and wellbeing is deliberately different from traditional paths. This approach is the direct result of the education and certification I received as a Holistic Health Coach from the Columbia University affiliated Institute for Integrative Nutrition® and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

Institute for Integrative Nutrition is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories, combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone, the Adkins, raw foods, and many more. IIN’s principle of Bio-individuality is how I approach each person, for me, this is the key to be successful in helping people to find better health, and happier and balanced lives.
